I’ve been meaning to start this blog for some time now, and alas, I fear the time has come. So the challenge is straight forward, i’m starting with a bankroll of £100, and my aim is to work that into £5000 within 365 days.
Now whilst I do enjoy gambling, love Betfair and understand laying and backing, I have not ever submerged myself in it enough to know whether my challenge is (a) realistic, (b) unrealistic or (c) just plain laughable!! So bear with me!
I have read several Betfair Systemsand have decided to trial two systems for the first month, and depending on the profit and loss of each system will then determine how much % of my bankroll I dedicate to each system.
So my first system is to use a staking system based on a tipping service. I have subscribed to a tipping service with a decent strike rate, and more importantly, I have worked out that with my staking system, I should always make a profit within 1 day. Here’s how.
Race 1 I bet 2% stake, which is £2. If this wins, great, I do 2% on the next race as well, which will be slightly more than £2 as the 2% would include my winnings.
If I lose, I double the stake on the second race! Why? Well this tipping service has never had more than 5 losers in a row, so even if I went £2, £4, £8, £16, £32, £64 - I would win - as long as he doesn’t have a record losing run!!
In fact, for today, I’ll stick with this. Once my results are in, i’ll post tomorrow how the racing went for me - wish me luck!
